Academic Excellence

1.

Curricular Integrity

1.

We believe CUSD 200 schools should be training scholars using time-tested curriculum and educational practices which inspire virtue, promote logic, and develop wisdom.

Transparency in Communication

1.

We believe the CUSD 200 School Board should be an accessible, proactively transparent tool for the community.

2.

We believe the CUSD 200 School Board’s policies and procedures should be easily obtainable by parents, and that timeliness, clarity, and accuracy of Freedom of Information Act requests should be standard.

Parental Engagement

1.

We believe that the CUSD 200 School Board should serve parents by enacting procedures to ensure that curriculum and enrichment resources/events honor parental leadership in such areas as: sociality, sexuality, morality, and mental health.

2.

We believe the CUSD 200 School Board should respect parental choice and strive to develop effective opt-in policies wherever possible so less burden is placed on parents to notify the school.
